SANE/SAFE programs provide specially trained medical professionals who offer compassionate, trauma-informed care, forensic examinations, and evidence collection for individuals who may have experienced sexual assault or abuse. These programs also help connect patients and families with advocacy, medical follow-up, and support resources.
